This week has definitely been the hottest week of the summer in Orange County just yet. We recently had two minor earthquakes amid all this humidity, as well. It's a bit silly how Californians don't get too panicky when an earthquake initiates... but I'm sure that's just because we haven't had anything too drastic hit. Plus, we're known to be spoiled with our beautiful climates. Nevertheless, the beloved mother is constantly pushing preparations my way. Still, I've been too caught up with my days to really tidy down and prepare any earthquake related matters. A friend recently informed me that California is expecting a bigger quake sometime soon. Hmm...
Global warming's just taking its toll, while Mother Nature throws her warnings our way with these not-too-scary quakes. Swear.
It's too bad I haven't had a single chance to hit the beach and soak up the sun this week. Hopefully, I'll be able to squeeze in some beach bumming after my state exam and before work starts.
It's times like these where you genuinely appreciate every breeze that comes your way during such torturous days. Anyway, stay hydrated, everyone!
Keep cool. Keep calm.
