be a work of art or wear a work of art

Since summer started this week, I feel like I've been lusting for adventures. So on my spare days, I try to not let it go to waste by uncovering places and things that I have not personally seen or experienced yet. For instance, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, better known as LACMA, has been a place I've read about and seen so often in movies, like the recent No Strings Attached. However, I have not gone until this past Tuesday. Just my luck, LACMA offers free admissions into certain buildings of their museum on the second Tuesday of every month, and it just happened to be the second Tuesday of June! Sweet. For those of you who reside in Los Angeles, you're granted free daily admission after 5:00 p.m. with proof of residency. Take advantage!

LACMA was filled with random art pieces and collectibles worthy of admiration. I also got to introduce Chris to Royal T, an extremely cute tea-house-like brunch-lunch spot that closes at 6:00 p.m. daily. I swoon over this place for its constantly updated pieces of art hung around the entire venue, making it pretty much like an art gallery. You never know what you'll expect to see in terms of paintings, but one unique aspect you will definitely always see is how the waitresses will kindly approach you in their French-fitted maid uniforms. The decor of the place definitely sets a captivating aura for anyone appreciative of the arts and cool vibes.

I know my posts have been rather lengthy with an overflow of pictures but, when exploring art exhibitions, describing all I saw in words will just not suffice. Bare with me.
